What is AR?

This digital artwork is Augmented Reality (AR). It can be placed in the real world using your smartphone, so you can use it wherever you go. AR is a beautiful way to experience “mixed reality” — where the digital world can coexist with reality. Once you collect, you receive a unique link to access your AR art infinitely, to capture photos & videos with your art. We are excited to see where you all will take this AR artwork.

The Artist

Geoffrey Bouillot

Geoffrey Bouillot is an artist based in Japan whose paintings have been featured in several solo and group exhibitions nationally. He believes that the role of an artist is to capture a present moment, which is sometimes insignificant, in order to sublimate it and draw from it its deep value, translating its spirit. Bouillot's distinctive still-lifes and portraits are imbued with symbols related to alchemy as well as patterns that are inspired by ancient civilizations.
